hey, i'm courtney!
I’m a social media strategist, former agency director, corporate marketing strategist — and a social media manager who burned out.
I’ve spent over a decade inside marketing, working across industries and business models. I’ve managed accounts for restaurants, hotels, retail stores, coaches, consultants, service providers, and leadership experts. I’ve built funnels, launched courses, developed brand strategies, managed retainers, and balanced corporate marketing roles during the day while running my own client work at night. I understand what it means to juggle multiple brands, deadlines, expectations, and creative demands all at once.
On paper, it looked successful. Behind the scenes, I was exhausted.
For years, I believed what most social media managers believe — that if I could just be more disciplined, more organized, more consistent, everything would finally click. I tried every batching method, every template system, every content calendar structure. Some worked temporarily. None were sustainable.
Then in 2024, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Shortly after, I experienced severe burnout and chronic illness that forced me to step away from everything and completely reevaluate how I was operating. My body would no longer tolerate hustle. My nervous system would no longer cooperate with pressure-based productivity.
I had a choice: keep trying to operate like a content machine, or redesign how I worked from the ground up.
I chose to redesign.
Not just to be productive, but to be sustainable. Not just to keep clients, but to keep my health. Not just to survive in this industry, but to build longevity in it.
The Burnout Free Content System isn’t theory. It’s the structure I built when I had no other option but to work differently. It’s how I manage content sustainably now. It’s how I mentor social media managers who are talented but overwhelmed. It’s how I teach strategy without burnout.
I don’t believe in working 24/7. I don’t believe your worth is tied to your output, and I don’t believe sustainability means lowering your standards.
I believe in structure.
I believe in leverage.
I believe in calm, professional execution.
I believe social media managers deserve careers that don’t cost them their health.
If that resonates with you, you’re in the right place.
